Eine Autoteatro-Performance?

- Ja, genau. Angeleitet von einer Stimme im Kopfhörer begeben sich zwei Teilnehmende in dieser interaktiven Performance auf eine Reise mit Bleistift, Radiergummi und einem Blatt Papier. Krude Kritzeleien entwickeln sich zu einer komischen und verstörenden Bildergeschichte, die aus der Spannung zwischen der Schöpfung und Zerstörung, Leben und Tod, Energie und Entropie heraus lebendig wird. Das Papier wird zu einem Wimmelbild der Möglichkeiten.

Die Aufführungen finden vom 5. bis 15. Mai immer donnerstags bis sonntags jeweils um 16 Uhr, 17:30 Uhr und 19 Uhr statt.

Teilnehmer:innen können sich unter Angabe ihres Wunschtermins - am besten zu zweit - unter ticket [at] zeitraumexit.de (ticket[at]zeitraumexit[dot]de) anmelden oder einfach vorbeikommen.

Und: Ant Hampton und Tim Etchells führen ihre Reise auf Wunsch auch in englischer, niederländischer, spanischer oder portugiesischer Sprache.

Not to Scale is a full-length autoteatro performance which draws two participants into shared experiments and intertwined processes of drawing, erasing and listening. Guided by a binaural soundtrack, participants create a shared journey using pencil on blank sheets of paper. Crude doodles soon come to life in a comical and unsettling picture book narrative that plays constantly with the tension between creation and destruction, life and death, energy and entropy.

Things – stories, pictures, ideas – appear and disappear constantly on the page, a site which starts to unfold into a lo-fi carnival of possibility; a carnage of crossing out, overlapped drawings and landscape traces.

Like Ant Hampton’s other 'autoteatro' work, including his previous collaborations with Etchells (The Quiet Volume, Lest We See), by simply following the prompts as best you can, things start to happen: performance is triggered from even the smallest movement. And they have never been so small.
