Parallax

The Norwegian Band Parallax works with different concepts of electro-acoustic music, developing a synthesis of improvisation, Northern European minimalism, folklore and electro-acoustic music. Their new programme, Biomimesis, wavers between organic and electronic sounds, focusing on sound texture while retransforming instruments, resonance and structures into sound phenomena. The music feels tactile and spontaneous and lives in the smallest details to approach an improvised ecology of sound.
