Even an artistic event leaves a climate footprint—through the mobility of artists and audiences, the energy consumption of the building, and the materials used in production.

The Klimafolgekosten-Ticket (climate impact ticket), introduced a year ago by PATHOS theater (Munich), makes these climate impact costs visible for the first time when purchasing tickets. The Tollwood Festival and MünchenTicket have already followed suit, and zeitraumexit will start implementing it in the fall.

Is this a model that can significantly advance sustainable transformation?
