We learned to deal with the flood of images that we´re confronted with on a daily basis. However we´re immediately exposed to the emotional effect of sound. The enveloping sound is never only harmless white noise. It defines territory, may become a weapon, voices steer and control. Domination also manifests itself acoustically through voice and suggestion, noise and war, audio technology and the military and we can´t get away from that authority.
