The lecture takes the global reactions to the Hamas attack on 7 October 2023 as its starting point and examines the subsequent increase in anti-Zionist mobilisation, particularly in politically progressive contexts. The focus lies on the question of how the delegitimisation of Israel, the application of double standards and a conspicuous fixation on the Jewish state are embedded in contemporary forms of anti-Semitism.
