Ensemble Divers approaches the subject of war in very different ways. A collage is created from children's absurd to oppressive “war games”, texts, songs and their own stories. A thought-provoking, absurd and biting piece. Questions are raised to which there are no simple answers: Is it easier to die for a conviction? Isn't the sky already overflowing? What color is violence? What is it all about? When even hope no longer exists? Despite all the pain, grief and despair, we yearn, hope and wish, more than ever.

The Ensemble Divers works with the support of Aktion Mensch and the Kulturamt Mannheim in cooperation with Lebenshilfe Bad Dürkheim and zeitraumexit Mannheim.

Ensemble Divers is a group of performers with different skills and from different generations; “deviation” and “difference” is the norm and forms the basis of their work together.
